Bitterroot Kimjang

It's that time of year when baechu (napa cabbage) is plentiful and when families and neighbors in Korea come together to make lots of kimchi to prepare for the winter. Join Hana and Jung-a this Nov. 23 in the Bitterroot Valley @ Winter Kissed Farms (Stevensville) to share in the Korean tradition of kimjang—making kimchi together as a community! More than food preservation, kimjang is a special gathering that connects people with the land, their food and with each other.

At this gathering, we’ll roll up our sleeves to prepare napa cabbage kimchi. No experience is necessary—just curiosity and a love of food! After salting, chopping, mixing, and packing, we’ll sit down together to enjoy bossam—tender pork wrapped with our fresh kimchi.

This kimjang is also a fundraiser to help Jung-a's and Hana's local food businesses, Jung-a’s and Let’s Get Korean, to grow, sharing…
